Blueberry Lemon Sprouted Quinoa Cereal

Serves: 2 | Prep time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla almond milk

  • 1 cup uncooked TruRoots® Organic Sprouted Quinoa

  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt

  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup

  • 1/2 teaspoon finely grated lemon peel

  • 1 cup blueberries

Instructions

  • COMBINE milk, quinoa and salt in medium saucepan. Bring to boil over medium-high heat. Reduce to simmer. Cover and cook 15 to 18 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Remove saucepan from heat. Let stand covered, 5 minutes. Fluff with fork.

  • STIR in maple syrup and lemon peel. Gently stir in blueberries.
